Grounds Maintenance Operative

  • Full-time, Permanent Role

  • Salary – Depending on experience & qualifications

  • Hours – 07:30 – 17:00 Monday – Friday

We have a skilled team of operatives on the ground, working together to deliver quality services to local councils, domestic dwellings and larger commercial projects. We pride ourselves on delivering a friendly and professional service with great results and positive follow-up.

Services include grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, spraying, fencing, seeding, turfing, planting, tree surgery, shrub clearance, operating a variety of machinery, firewood preparation, winter fuel and plant nursery deliveries, fencing projects and more.

Our experienced team provide services specific to clients’ needs; whether these be individual projects, ongoing public services, or conservation projects, to protect and support local wildlife.

Ideal candidates for our operative roles are experienced in grounds maintenance and horticultural practices. They are self-motivated, flexible in their approach, able to work individually or as part of a team, can follow instructions and can work sensitively to the needs of the client. They have a good understanding of health and safety practices, hold a current, clean driving licence, a CSCS card, spraying certificates, and have a willingness to learn new skills.

    • Preparation and delivery of firewood and smokeless fuel
  • Current PA1 & PA6 certificate
  • Current CSCS Card or ROLO certification
  • Other certifications may include: First Aid, Brushcutters and Trimmers, Chainsaws, Forklifts
  • Must have a full, current, clean driving licence
