Commercial Fencing Project

Thurlton Primary School is a small community school with 60 pupils. It is located South East of Norwich and is based in a Victorian building (1875), which was extended and modernised almost 100 years later. The grounds include soft and hard play areas, a car park and an environmental area with a pond and gardens.

This school, along with two local high schools, is a part of the Clarion Academy Trust, which is a multi-academy and primary school Trust in South Norfolk.

TTSR were contracted for fence replacement works to improve the safeguarding of the school property. Works included the installation of 400m of 2m high bow-top railings galvanised and polyester-coated RAL 6005 green fencing and electric gates with inbuilt safety features to protect those in the vicinity. Also this extended to site improvements; including drainage, installing a storage shed, removing an old swimming pool inside of a polytunnel, tarmacking, car park and footpath works and removal of existing fencing and vegetation. Works were completed to a tight schedule to fit in with school holidays and low-footfall periods.
